My grandfather was wounded in action – December 5, 1944 – France . – Army Serial # 18 021 513, Honorable Discharged on September 25, 1945.  The gentlemen in the small photo was Melvin Gandy, he was sent out D-Day before my grandfather. They lost touch but I found his daughter Jacqueline Davis in Texas .  Melvin died of lung cancer Dec 1998.

As for the other two men Cooper and Shorty, I would love to find out what happened to them, as my grandfather just turned 90 years old and has been thinking about his brothers a lot lately.
