1 October 1942 to 4 February 1943: United States Army
     Air Force: Aviation Cadet; Rank of Private
In Camp Howse, Texas by July 1944. Promoted to PFC
     from Private 11 August 1944 along with 31 other
     men of Company I.
11 August 1944 to 6 December 1945: United States
     Army Military Qualifications: Combat Infantryman
     and Expert Infantryman Rifleman: Loaded, aimed
     and fired a rifle 14 months in United States,
     France, Germany and Austria. Participated in
     two major campaigns against the Germans as
     a member of the 7th Army: Rhineland and
     Central Europe. Wounded by the Germans in
     the Rhineland Campaign on 28 November 1944
     near Ville, France. Awarded the Purple Heart medal.
General Clerk: Maintained clerical forms and records
     for 6 months with a construction engineer's unit in France.
Honorable Discharge date: 6 December 1945 Rank of PFC
Passed away in Denver, Colorado on 9 January 2007
