PVT ANTHONY J. REVINSKI - (KIA)

410th G Company

   
Anthony was born on June 4, 1922 to Isabella and Benjamin Revinski in Atlas, PA.  He drove a truck for a mining company prior to his induction into the service on November 18, 1942.
 
He trained at Camp Carson, CO and Ft. Lee, VA prior to joining the 410th, Company G. 
 
On March 15th, 1945, Anthony’s unit was advancing in support of Operation Undertone when the shelling began.  He was KIA by shrapnel to the chest.  Originally buried at St. Avold, he was repatriated home to Mount Carmel, PA. 
 
He rests in honor at Mother of Consolation Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania.  He was 22 years old.
